Friday the 30th of Sep Radio Afro and Zimfest held a fundraiser dance at the Deen in Northbridge. Featuring local Aussie and Zimbabwean D'js and Mc's, including Dj Blackbelt ,Dj Ray, LNX Dread and Bala B ,as well as Soldier E, Sammy G and many more. With a prize of 500 dollars going to the peoples choice award for best d'j or M'C . The winner was Dj Blackbelt who is well know around town from his residency at Geisha nightclub night Wet&Wild on wednesday nights. DJ Scater 07 and Future Soundz  are set to release the seventh Mixtape  in the Reggae Soul series. The 30th  Bob Marley Outernational day was greeted with perfect weather and vibes to match. The Railway Hotel has got to be Fremantle's perfect outdoor venue. The talented Danny Pashionfruit played an amazing acoustic set of Marley covers, and the crowd knew all the words and sang along. The Isolites played a solid set of pure Rocksteady covers and originals with tunes by Stranger Cole and  many more, their harmonies and horns sounded so clear  left the crowd wanting more.
